How did this happen to me?

Real estate ownership is known to be one of the greatest investments. But at this point in time, it can be devastating.

With the changes in the changes in the economy, everyone is suffering. Anyone that has a job today can be in the same position as many others that were in that same comfort zone.

Many people are facing sever economic distress at this time in our country. it is really hard to imagine that just a few years ago, we were doing just fine. It is cyclical. Every few years, there is a twist in economy and just about everyone suffers from it.

I, personally, recommend learning all you can about your money and how it can work better for you. Read! Read! Read! You can never be too smart about your money and the future of your money!

Now, back to your situation. You are in trouble. What do you do? How do you recover? How long will this take? How long will it last?

First, examine your situation and tighten your belts. You will learn to make cutbacks and realize there is no real bailout available. Grab some paper and your bills. Examine every last expense- define the difference between your necessities and your luxuries. What do I really need? Tough to do, yes. Can you do it, yes!

Certified Distress Property Expert or a professional short sale expert with 5+ years experience in saving troubled homeowners from having a FORECLOSURE on their credit . In addition to this, I care about to a homeower and their future.

First, if you are in default with the mortgage payments to your lender, a realtor can explain your options and help you understand what the long term effects can have in regards to your home and your credit.

Second, a realtor can negotiate the sale of your home through a short sale process. Unless you have equity in your home, this is the most common method used to avoid foreclosure. This can aid your future credit from the long term scar of a foreclosure.

Third, a realtor can discretely and competently work with the banks to negotiate the short sale process and save you all the work and worry. It is tedious and very drawn out. But it can be done.
